Upstate Laboratories is no longer in business, but on Wednesday a federal judge fined the company $150,000 and placed it on probation for five years.

Officials at Upstate Labs had pleaded guilty to mail fraud.

They admitted they falsified results of more than 3,000 tests on water and soil samples.

The list of clients that received false results included the State Department of Transportation and the Fulton County Department of Solid Waste.
