Two more Capital Region Kmart stores are closing. The stores in Clifton Park and Latham will close in May.
According to parent company Sears Holding Communications, the stores did not renew their leases.
The stores are closing as part of a series of actions the company is taking to reduce expenses.
The two locations have about 60 to 70 employees.
The stores will begin their liquidation sales on Feb. 23.
After they close, Kmart stores will still be open in East Greensbush, Rotterdam, Greenwich, Queensbury, Great Barrington, and Bennington.
A store on Central Avenue in Colonie closed back in December.
