The Troy Public Library says they were overpaid by over $300,000 of taxpayer money from the city.

The city says it was a clerical error.
Now city councilmen Dean Bodnar and Jim Gordan are asking the state Comptroller's Office to review the city's finances.
"Has this happened before? How do we prevent this from happening again? This is why we need the state to look into this," Bodnar said in a statement.
