GLOVERSVILLE – The assistant superintendent of the Gloversville Enlarged School District is on paid administrative leave after being arrested by Colonie police.

Authorities say they arrested Frank Pickus after finding methamphetamine in his possession during a traffic stop.

The school’s website says Pickus has been placed on administrative leave after the district was notified by police of his arrest.

He was pulled over on Troy-Schenectady Road and police say they found a little more than four grams of the drug in his possession.

Pickus was arraigned and released pending a court appearance on Wednesday.
