PITTSFIELD – Homeowners of an Elm Street house in Pittsfield are shaken after their home was hit by a car for the second time this week.
NewsChannel 13’s media partners at the Berkshire Eagle report that Markus Chambers was behind the wheel of a car that smashed into the home at 227 Elm St. early Sunday morning.
Chambers was transported to Berkshire Medical Center with unknown injuries.
The car crash did cause significant structural damage to the home.
It comes after the house was struck by a different car on Wednesday morning. Police say in that crash Garrett Casey of Pittsfield ran the stop sign at Holmes Road and Elm Street. His car went over a snow bank and hit two parked cars and two homes.
