NORTH ADAMS - Big names in the bay state are in Berkshire County Tuesday to talk about North Adams Regional Hospital.
The hospital shut down Friday after the community rallied for days, pleading to keep it open.
Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick arrived in North Adams Tuesday morning, at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
Governor Patrick calls this a very fluid situation with no definite answers yet.
NewsChannel 13 does know that Berkshire Med applied for a license to open up a satellite facility, in what was a North Adams hospital.
Governor Patrick is expediting the license at the state level.
But it also requires federal approval.
Governor Patrick has not yet given the time frame yet on when Berkshire Med will open the ER in North Adams.
Attorney General Martha Coakley is expected to arrive in North Adams and also discuss this issue after meeting with the mayor of North Adams.
