Albany police arrest restaurant burglar

ALBANY – Police say they have the man who burglarized several Albany restaurants.

The burglaries all happened over a nine month period, starting last august.

Jeremy Woodell, 26, is accused of stealing mostly cash from Martel’s at Capital Hills, The Point on Madison Avenue, Washington Tavern on Western Avenue And Pepper Jack’s On North Allen Street.

He was sent to the Albany County Jail.

Police say more charges are pending.
