Two men have admitted to an armed robbery in Albany.

Ah-Meel Guthrie, 25, and Qualon Cooks, 21, robbed homeowners on Sherman Street last July.

During the fight, a shot went off near an officer.

Police searched the area and found guns and stolen property.

Both men face up to 10 years in prison and five years of post-release supervision when they are sentenced in June.

A case against two co-defendants -- Jhaffre Mcclain and Brian Briggs is still pending.
