The FDA is ordering the maker of Lunesta to lower the starting dose because of next-day drowsiness.

The agency says studies show the sleep drug, when taken at currently recommended doses, can cause problems with driving, memory and coordination up to 11 hours after its first taken.

The dose will be lowered from two milligrams to one.
