Study: Moles could be linked to breast cancer risk

The more moles a woman has, the greater her chance of possibly developing breast cancer.

That's according to two new studies.

One finds that women who have 15 or more moles on their left arm were 35 percent more likely to be diagnosed with breast cancer than if they had no moles.

Another finds women classified as having 'very many' moles had a 13 percent higher risk.

Scientists stress this does not mean moles cause breast cancer, but instead may be linked to estrogen and testosterone levels.
